Photo-Testimonies of Youth From Knights Landing: “Borders, (Im)mobility, Youth”

FW-TestimoniesExhibit of photo-testimonies and presentations about the lives of local farmworker youth will be offered by Knights Landing youth groups, Las Ramonas & Pueblo Unido. The exhibits and presentations have been co-sponsored by the Mellon Initiative in Comparative Border Studies Event and the University of California, Davis Chicana/o Studies Department.
These exhibits and presentations are free and open to the public. The purpose of the exhibits and presentations are to raise awareness about the various challenges faced by youth in Knights Landing.
The first exhibit and presentation will be on October 20, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Knight Landing Yolo Center for Families. The second presentation will be on November 2, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in 3114 Hart Hall, UC Davis.  The exhibition will take place at the second floor of Hart Hall, in the hallway of the Chicana/o Studies Department.
