The year 2017 is ending in just a few hours. The Vanguard has survived, even thrived for another year. In late November we launched our December fund drive to raise another $3000 – we have blown past that goal this month. But our margins remain tight and so if you have not yet made your end of the year contribution – please consider it.
Our work is essential – independent journalism – covering local government and the courts as no one else does. We are entering an election year. We have a critical city council election, a critical land use battle, a critical tax battle, and perhaps even a critical district attorney race.
