State Of California Approves First Retail Cannabis Business License In Davis

F Street Dispensary scheduled to open to public in September

(From Press Release) — On Friday, July 20, 2018, locally owned and operated F Street Dispensary, located at 420 F Street in Davis, became the first retail cannabis business in Yolo County to be issued a Type 10 license by the State of California Bureau of Cannabis Control.

A Type 10 license permits the sale of cannabis to adults 21 years of age or older, and to medical patients 18 years of age or older with a doctor’s recommendation. In order to obtain a Type 10 license, F Street Dispensary’s license was approved after a review of the plans and consent from the local jurisdiction.

The dispensary, which is on track to open in September 2018, will offer retail sales with express pick-up. Home delivery services will also be provided throughout Davis.

It has been a great time setting the business up, but the best is yet to come when we open and begin serving customers soon.”

At this time, locally-hired contractors are working diligently to retrofit the former office building into a modern retail interior while maintaining the small home-like look and feel of the building and neighborhood as a whole. Additionally, F Street Dispensary management is currently finalizing the hiring process, with an emphasis on hiring local workers.
