Please join us for a benefit concert at Stonegate Country Club on  May 29th, to raise money to help Natalie Wormeli buy a wheelchair accessible van. Natalie is a long-time Davis resident, who earned a Vanguard advocacy award because of her work with the ACLU. Because of complications from multiple sclerosis, Natalie needs an accessible van in order to continue her volunteer work at Staging a Miracle, an arts program for low-income children and teens in Sacramento. David Greenwald is the founder, editor, and executive director of the Davis Vanguard. He founded the Vanguard in 2006. David Greenwald moved to Davis in 1996 to attend Graduate School at UC Davis in Political Science. He lives in South Davis with his wife Cecilia Escamilla Greenwald and three children.
