Food Bank Board Refocuses Leadership

As Yolo Food Bank enters the public phase of its $6 million Capital Campaign and starts renovation of its new facilities, the Board of Directors has made leadership changes to better serve the organization. Kevin Sanchez has left the Executive Director position to accept Board appointment as the new Campaign and Project Director. “His vision and experience is critical to seeing this project through completion,” said Tom Muller, President of the Board of Directors.

“The Capital Campaign has already raised $4.2 million for its new location,” Muller continued. “We’re looking forward to finishing the campaign and completing renovation as soon as possible so we can improve and expand our services to our hungry neighbors in all corners of Yolo County.”

The Board of Directors is starting its search for a new Executive Director. In the meantime, Board Directors are assisting staff with day-to-day management of Food Bank operations.
