Letter: Leaders Support Gary Sandy for Supervisor

Share:

Collectively we represent 116 years of service to this community in elected office and many more in community service.

With decades of public service we believe it is an ethical conflict to have a husband and wife team sit on the Woodland City Council and the Yolo County Board of Supervisors at the same time.  It may not be illegal, but it is wrong. What Tom and Meg Stallard are attempting to do is a political power grab.

We are fortunate to have a great alternative to Meg Stallard for the Board of Supervisors.  Former Mayor and current community college trustee Gary Sandy will make an excellent Supervisor.   He has a long history of bringing people together and will be able to unite this community during difficult times.

Please join us in supporting Gary Sandy for County Supervisor.

Sincerely,

Dr. Marlin “Skip” Davies – Woodland City Councilman – Former Woodland Mayor – 10 Years

Xochtil Rodriguez – Woodland Vice Mayor – 2 Years

Angel Barajas – Woodland City Councilman – Former Woodland Mayor – Former Woodland School Trustee – 8 Years

Matt Rexroad – Yolo County Supervisor – Former Woodland Mayor – 16 Years

Dr. Jesse Ortiz – Yolo County Superintendent of Schools – Yolo County Board of Education – Former Woodland School District Trustee – 16 Years

Morgan Childers – Woodland School Trustee – 3 years

Dave Flory – Former Woodland Mayor – 20 Years

Dr. Cirenio Rodriguez – Former Woodland School District Trustee – Former County Board of Education Trustee – 20 Years

Jim Hilliard – Former Woodland City Councilman – 4 years

Neal D. Peart – Former Woodland City Councilman – 8 years

Art Pimentel – Former Woodland Mayor – Former Woodland School District Trustee – 9 Years
