Court Watch: Accused Man Faces Life Ban from Weapons after Plea Deal

A San Francisco man pleaded guilty to three felony counts and no contest to two misdemeanor counts, including possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed firearm as a convicted person, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher, and was sentenced to 180 days in county jail and a lifetime ban on possessing weapons.

Suspect Arraigned in Picnic Day Shooting Case

A 19-year-old man accused of the Davis Picnic Day shooting had his bail increased to $300,000 and was remanded into custody, with additional conditions on release that he not associate with known gang members and that he be subject to personal and electronic searches for firearms and ammunition.
