The Davis Police Department, in conjunction with the city of Davis Human Relations Commission, is rolling out a new program — alternative conflict resolution. This program uses restorative justice practices to directly address conflict between civilians and police.
The commission will host an information session that will feature a demonstration of exactly how the process will work. Interested community members are invited to attend at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Davis Community Church library, 412 C St.
